Welcome!

Welcome to our class blog! This space is meant to be a little more fun and informal than the wiki. We'll use it to post all blog assignments, which include reflections on readings, and field notes from our trips. You're encouraged to do more than just type here - the blog makes it easy to upload pictures, even video - so do your best to share many aspects of your experiences as we go through the semester.

A few notes on the blog:

• To make a new post click "New Post" in the top right hand corner of the screen.
• To comment on another person's post, click the "Comments" link you see at the bottom of each post.
• Please be conscientious about space here. Each new post makes the blog longer and harder to search, so only use New Posts to fulfill class assignments (like field notes), and use Comments to speak to or about another post.
  
• In the "New Posts" screen you can add photos by clicking the photo icon above the text field, and you can insert movies you make by clicking the movie icon (to the right of the the photo icon).
