on chaco canyon

i got back from chaco canyon late last night. i am still in awe of the beauty of the ruins and of new mexico. i will let these pictures speak for themselves, and maybe follow up later with something intelligent to say. but maybe not; words may ruin it.

2ND STORY OF PUEBLO BONITO

FALL FLOWERING ON TOP OF THE CANYON

LOOKING UPWARDS

THE SKIES TURNED GRAY...BEAUTIFUL.

THE COLORS, THE TIMELESSNESS; IT WAS ALL AMAZING.

  3. Christine,

Josh and I (and Dan and Stacey) are headed there for an overnight camp out this weekend. I can't wait! Based on your pictures, I'm so excited! And Josh got a Chaco Canyon book that he's reading right now ;)
